Marines and Sailors with the Force Reconnaissance Platoon (FRP), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct marksmanship training at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, June 30, 2020.

This marksmanship program is designed to increase their speed and accuracy at close range.

The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and quick reaction force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
