I had been wanting to make an AMV for some time and never got around to it, but since today is 4/4 I thought I had an excuse because... the number four is very important in the Aeon series and I like symbolism...
That being said, I also had the AMV focus on the main four characters who are the driving force of the plot:
Nabu, Meian, Iakuy, Athyir, and Zirar

So a few people guessed this was going on a while back even before before I uploaded the revamped version of the prologue and I originally wasnt going to confirm or deny anything (outside of Patreon) until the whole thing was done to drop it as a surprise, but decided to announce it officially with this video!
If you would like to see the old re-animated version of this same clip that was made before the series was switched to motion graphic/ PMV, that can be found on my Patreon! Its much more of a shot-for-shot remake of the original though, just animated with updated artwork (now scrapped due to the series no longer being fully animated)
So as anyone whos been on my Patreon for the past few years will know, Ive actually been in the process of remastering Aeon episodes 1 and 2! Ep 1 was more for visual reasons (and some clunky writing), while ep 2 is because... that episode felt so awkward and out of place with the writing that it led to a lot of plot errors and other issues in general.
Because the ep 1 remake originally wasnt going to have any major plot changes (and still doesnt for the most part), I planned to drop the final as a surprise and then explain the ep 2 remake as well as a redub of ep 3-5 with updated voice actors. However... that changed!
Now the plan is to remaster ep 1 (few-no writing story changes), remake/ rewrite ep 2, and remaster ep 3-5 (few-no writing story changes). Whether ep 6 will stay the same or not is yet to be decided. Its already PMV and wont have any changes as far as plot or lore go, but the art style in that one is older and may stand out too much if its not redone while older episodes are. Still a subject of debate (mainly because ep 6 was a monster to make and I really, really dont want to go back to it).
That being said, the remakes are going to have a couple of other updates as well:
-Larger focus on human forms of characters. Back when I started out, I couldnt draw people very well so I focused too much on the animal forms (also I was being lazy). This led to an awkward problem where people seemed to be confused what the series was about. People asking why wolves were turning into humans, etc when it was actually the other way around. It led to a weird problem where people would find my videos and think the channel was animal related, then find the episodes and see it wasnt. Of course some characters like Rajhu (and probably Nuraiah) will still be primarily in their animal forms.
-The larger focus on human forms also means Ill be focusing more on human weapons and fighting techniques. A lot of that was done with the characters in their animal forms because it became awkward to draw humans fighting when the character didnt already have an establish weapon, so that will be a new update well see! (probably also the one I am most unreasonably excited for)
What does this mean for ep 7+?
Nothing, absolutely nothing. Ill be working on the current remake alongside the next ep (currently ep 1 remaster and ep 7). Which one gets priority depends on motivation of the time. The current lack of progress actually has a lot more to do with irl stuff that leads to a lack of time, not this.

Remember that time 10 years ago I hosted an 8 minute Multi-Animator Project? I have restraint this time. This one is only 7 minutes.
Anyway, this is meant to be a bit more casual. Due to the length of the song, I dont plan to be too picky with who gets in. Ill still be looking at channels and it wont be first-come first-served, but the skill level required wont be as high as people are probably expecting.

Rules:
- this is for OCs (original characters) only, so no fandom or fandom OCs (unless they can reasonably look distanced from the fandom)
- 16x9 aspect ratio
- do not beg for a part
- joining the discord server is not required, but recommended since its easier to keep contact with people that way
- open to both animation and PMV-style artwork. I wont be too picky here, but will still be looking for some kind of basic skillset (I will check your YouTube channel for this)
- ask in the comments section for the part you want. If you ask for multiple, please put them in order of preference
- up to 4 parts per person. If you finish your first parts, you can then ask for another if they are available
- no color palette, no theme other than something that fits the song itself
- full background art is expected, as well as art that looks complete (if the style is meant to look sketchy when complete thats fine)
