This beautiful byway has been closed to all vehicles for a number of years, and when I last checked a few months ago, it was still listed on the Councils map as closed to its junction with AE25, so I gave up thinking about it. I have to give a big Thank You to mellow r1 for letting me tag along on one of his rides, and letting me know that the byway is now open again to bikes and quads, and listed as such on the Councils latest updated map. I came out this way again today and it is most definitely on my favourites list, and I'll bring a container along next time to fill up with fresh sloes for my gin, and some fresh plums for my toilet wine, or chutney.
