Today’s Advent Shaker Calendar entry is a simple one – a box, some stones, and an elastic band – but it’s amazing the sound colour you can still create from these three ingredients!

Well the little shaker I’ve made today for the Advent Shaker Calendar is just basically a cardboard jewellery box. I’ve just popped a little elastic band there, and popped little stones inside.

Evelyn is stood in front of an array percussion instruments of varying shapes, sizes, textures and colours. She shows us the shaker she has created today, as part of her Advent Shaker Calendar (where she is making a new shaker every day in the lead-up to Christmas), describing what it is made from, and then demonstrates it.
