Advancing transparency in fisheries: The Global Charter for Fisheries Transparency  @EnvironmentalJusticeFoundation

The opaque and shadowy nature of global industrial fishing is allowing illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing to go undetected, severely threatening the health of our ocean. A fundamental shift toward transparency in global fisheries is urgently needed. The Global Charter for Fisheries Transparency provides a roadmap to help bring fisheries out of the shadows, in order to protect our ocean and the people who depend on it.
