In this complete advanced breeding guide, I explain how Mutated Eggs work, how the two parent Pals determine the pool of possible Mutation Pals, and how to significantly increase your chances of receiving one with an Extravagant Vegetable Cake.
To begin breeding, build a Breeding Farm, assign one male and one female Pal, and place the desired type of Cake inside the farm’s storage chest.
Most breeding attempts will produce the normal egg expected from that parent combination. However, every breeding attempt has a small chance to produce a special Mutated Egg instead.
Mutated Eggs use their own result pool. This means the egg does not necessarily hatch into the ordinary Pal that the parents would normally produce. Instead, it can contain a random Mutation Pal selected from a pool determined by the two parents.
Mutation Pals can be dramatically stronger than ordinary offspring. They can hatch with excellent potential, special rainbow-colored passive skills, improved work suitability, powerful active skills, and other bonuses that make them extremely valuable for combat, breeding, and base work.
You can increase the chance of producing a Mutated Egg by using an Extravagant Vegetable Cake.
The standard Cake has a very low Mutation chance, while the Extravagant Vegetable Cake triples those odds and also makes stronger stat growth more likely.
