An introductory Japanese lesson for beginners! In this video, you’ll learn how to conjugate i-adjectives and na-adjectives into negative, past tense, and past-negative tense. Model sentences and vocab are all shown on the screen in kanji, kana, and English.
Here are some conjugated adjectives. First, the plain adjective, then its negative versions.
Cute: かわいい かわいくない かわいくありません
Delicious: おいしい おいしくない おいしくありません
Fabulous: すばらしい すばらしくない すばらしくありません
Tall: たかい たかくない たかくありません
Cheap: やすい やすくない やすくありません
Big: おおきい おおきくない おおきくありません
Small: ちいさい ちいさくない ちいさくありません
Convenient: べんり べんりじゃない べんりじゃありません
Mysterious: ふしぎ ふしぎじゃない ふしぎじゃありません
Easy: かんたん かんたんじゃない かんたんじゃありません
Bad at: へた へたじゃない へたじゃありません
