When George Russell accidentally launched a bottle of Moët towards the shin of Getty's Clive Mason, it began a great story of paddock camaraderie that ended with George gifting Clive a new pair of Adidas trainers after his were left stained with the blood from his wounded shin! Well, the story continues as Adidas contacted me a few races ago to thank me for my coverage of the incident, and I can tell you that they gifted me not one, but TWO pairs of new shoes that I will be proudly wearing in the paddock!
