The Royal Australian Navy has completed its third regional presence deployment for 2025.

From early August until late November, HMAS Brisbane sailed throughout the Indo-Pacific to conduct training, exercises and other engagements with regional navies.

Regional presence deployments play a vital role in Australia’s long-term security and prosperity by protecting our interests, preserving a rule based international order, enhancing cooperation and relationships with partners and allies, and developing capability and interoperability.
