The Australian Army’s 7th Brigade conducted Exercise DIAMOND RUN at Shoalwater Bay Training Area in Central Queensland between 18 – 28 July 2026. The exercise confirmed the Brigade’s combat readiness through a series of coordinated offensive and defensive scenarios across a range of backdrops, including an urban operations training facility. The exercise strengthened the Brigade’s capacity for rapid command and control, fortified its communications capabilities, enhanced the ability to adapt and continued to build warfighting skills that enable integration for future operations.
