In this video we take a look at how we can add a hands off climb or descent to iNav's Cruise mode. I show 2 different ways of doing this. The first method uses a mix in the transmitter. The second way is performed within iNav its self.

NOTE: In the video, there is a difference between the effect of the percentages between using the transmitter method and the iNav mixer method. This is because the transmitter version is subject to expo on the pitch where the iNav mixer version is not. Just play with the percentages until you find your sweet spot for your particular model.

The transmitter method is not just limited to iNav. It could be used with any other auto pilot system and their flight mode that has a heading and altitude hold. For example Cruise on ArduPlane (ArduPilot) or 2D mode with Hold (2DH) on Vector.
