I just finished building a new clay extruder, and wanted to put it to use. I try adding a woven edge to a couple of wheel thrown pieces. I have never done this before. You get to see how I tried to make them and then see the results.
Working with the soft clay ropes is definitely tricky. Too wet and they flop. Too dry and they don't stick to each other. With practice this technique has a lot of potential. I hope you are inspired to try something similar. Leave me a comment.
