Good power banks are getting cheaper!
This ADATA is available now in Poland for about $14.
And it seems to be better than overpriced Xiaomi or BlitzWolf devices imported from China
Features:
- capacity 12500mAh / 45000 mWh (5x 2500mAh 18650)
- digital LED display with remaining capacity shown in percents
- dual 5V/2.1A output
- input micro USB 5V/2A (fast charging with good power supply)
- good price
- unfortunately no UPS mode
- no QC but both USB outputs give 2.1A (tested even up to 2.4A)
UPDATE - Real capacity test:
- nominal capacity - 12500mAh * 3.6V = 45000mWh
- discharging capacity at 1A load - 8722mAh * 4.95V = 43172mWh (!!)
Very good result. It seems that boost converter efficiency is about 96% or manufacturer used little better cells.
Unfortunately I noticed a bug in displaying percent value:
- during charging it stops for very long time at 99% but power bank takes full current and finally 100% is displayed after about 2h
- during discharging it stops at blinking 2% for very long time, but power bank is empty after next about 2-3h
- it seems that 1-100% covers about 60-80% of real capacity, this is strange. Maybe it is some sort of protection to extend cells life. User manual doesn't mention anything about it. But real capacity is better than expected for such low price!
