I just completed a no buy year. How did it affect me? What's next? Will I just go out and spend all my money willy nilly now? Or has my year of limiting my consumption of style and beauty products changed me?
The answer is the latter. Now that I can purchase whatever I want whenever I want to, I've realized that I want to edit and curate my collection more than go out on a shopping spree.
So I've set makeup goals for the year to help me edit and curate my makeup. I'll be focusing on technique first, then skincare, THEN cosmetics. That's my order of priorities this year as I do a year-long, slow motion declutter to carefully curate the elegantly edited collection of my dreams.
