This video shows how I paint a house and landscape in acrylic paint. I like to paint using thick, bold strokes of acrylic paint and my favorite brush is my Simply Simmons size 8 bright brush which I purchased from Michaels. I first find a photo reference of a house and then I use the Waterlogue App to change the photo to a watercolor painting and then I use a small skinny bristle brush to sketch on the canvas using Burnt Sienna. I use a mix of Utrecht and Liquitex acrylic paint and use mainly primary colors like primary yellow, red, blue, mars black, titanium white and burnt sienna. I usually like to just use primary colors because I like to mix my own colors because it's more fun doing it that way and so I can come up with interesting colors.
