This video is showing how I paint flowers in oil paint. I use canvas from Michael's that come in a five pack at a low cost. I don't purchase super expensive canvas because I feel there is no difference between low-cost and expensive canvas. I use different brands of oil paint that I had on hand from taking art classes like Gamblin, Winsor and Newton, Blick, Utrecht and Grumbacher. The most expensive paint was Gamblin, but the result is the same as low cost paint. I use small and medium size flat and filbert bristle brushes. I like bristle brushes because they are firm and fun to paint with.
