In this webinar we will describe how, as a key part of the delivery team for most of the major infrastructure projects across the UK, WSP’s land referencing business identifies diverse stakeholders whose landholdings are directly and indirectly affected by proposed infrastructure developments projects. In doing so, we help secure the necessary powers whilst providing affected individuals, organizations and communities the opportunity to contribute positively to the planning processes they unwittingly find themselves caught up in. We describe how these rights, enshrined in Magna Carta since 1215, may only be infringed with the utmost diligence, care and respect, and how innovation allows WSP to successfully achieve these objectives on a near industrial scale whilst not losing sight of the impacts development projects have on real people.
