Some have asked about the Cessna 182T's characteristic of requiring rotation for takeoff. Here is a brief section from our very first time taking off in a Cessna 182T. You will see the following:
- First reaction after flying the Skyhawks
- I rotate at 100kias, and the plane actually goes right back down on the runway after releasing pressure on the yoke
- Requires back pressure all the way to 120kias to maintain level flight
