Dashcam video of accident at corner of Nic Diederichs Rd and Florin Road, Wilgeheuwel, Roodepoort, at 10:47 on 3 July 2023.
Toyota Yaris on Florin Road jumped red traffic light, narrowly missing a car crossing the intersection (on green), hitting VW Amarok in left lane on Nic Diederichs Rd into Florin (becomes Lubbe Rouge St).
Yaris spun to left and ended up on island next to traffic light. Amarok stopped at point of impact. From the damage, it appears that Amarok drove into Yaris, but from the video, it is clear that the Yaris jumped the red light and caught the nose of the Amarok as it was turning to the left.
