Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Am in the middle of a holiday, so I will be late to visit or reply, but I've actually painted this beforehand, and I envisioned some chill days for editing by the pool. Obviously that went out the window and I'm many days behind.

But I actually really like this piece and thought it would've been a waste not to premiere it. By that, I just mean that I want a higher retention rate for all the time and effort put into this lol.

I've been on a new obsession of trying to reinterpret photography techniques into painting for the larger pieces. And for this one, I was trying capture light in motion through the paintbrush.

I haven't painted a rose in a while, and I thought it might be a refreshing perspective from intoxication. This pink rose to me, feels like it's navigating it's way through life. It's a sprinkle of madness and a little blurry.

I wasn't sure if I wanted the rose to be a little woozy as well, but I've decided to keep it's head on its shoulders. I love the light effect here, its my first try but I'm looking forward for experimenting more with it in the future.
