Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Am back from a month long holiday, and I might have forgotten how to paint. Hands and fingers are a little stiff, so I am slowly trying to get back into a routine. Quite conveniently, I've also semi forgotten how to do house chores. Responsibilities are out the window. I absolutely loathe the thought of starting work as well. Can I just say that I forgot how to read?
Please help me retire by watching the ads on my videos 🤣 I want to vacation forever.
Because I'm a little moody, post vacation blues. I'm going to start the background with solid black, for the funeral of my bygone lazy days.
Bear with me as I repeat a couple of painting themes while I find my mojo and inspiration again. Either that or I've just picked up where I left off my current obsession of painting light in motion.
This piece is supposed to be an interpretation of the cars zooming across a busy highway. At first, I told myself I'm not going to add a flower in it, but it just felt incomplete without one.
Sometimes, I feel like the flower is me, watching the world go by in a daze, lost in my own thoughts or a mere spectator of life. A little flower with an awful eyesight. But I like my vision blurry. Everything feels a little more calm and less hectic.
My pets have this thing where they think that I can't see them when they can't see me, especially when they're hiding in plain sight. And it's sort of the same, I walk on a street and I can barely see the faces of the passerbys and I am the sole and main character of my own movie in my mind.
Is this delusion, escapism or narcissism? Probably a bit of everything. Anyway, I actually like how this turned out, was a nice ice breaker back into painting.
