Damen Yachting launched their largest support vessel Abeona (YS 7512) on Saturday last week (8 October 2022). The support yacht arrived in Vlissingen on 6 August of last year. It seems Ebeona will be the future yacht support vessel of Oceanco’s Y721, the 127m/ 417ft three-masted schooner, most likely in construction for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The Yacht Support Vessel has a length of 75m/ 246ft, a beam of 12.6m/ 41.4ft and a draft of 4m/13ft. The vessel has a gross tannage of 1900GT and will have a cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 18 knots. At cruising speed her maximum range will be 5000nm. Next to all possible toys like a heli, tenders, cars and a sub, Ebeona can accommodate 4 guests in 2 staterooms + 37 crew members.
