Project 1013 was launched at shipyard Zwijnenburg Thursday last week. The 101m/ 330ft hull left Rotterdam for Feadship Makkum last Sunday expecting to arrive today. We took this footage of the transport in Amsterdam yesterday.

As you can see the hull of Project 1013 has much similarities with the 99.95m/ 328ft Moonrise, delivered by Feadship in Makkum in 2020. According to some sources Project 1013 is also under construction for the same owner, which seems to be the 47 years old Ukrainian-American founder of Whatsapp, Mr. Jan Koum. Project 1013 will most likely his 4th yacht after the one metre shorter Moonrise, its 68m/ 228ft support vessel Nebula, the 73m/ 241ft Mogambo (refitted by Feadship Makkum last year) and its support vessel Power Play (55m/ 181ft). With a possible support vessel on its way for Project 1013 his total fleet of yachts might be 6.
