From the "Lost and Obscure TV Shows" Department: Here's the complete original broadcast of an edition of the very short-lived (only four episodes) series High Performance, titled "Ice on the Road" (S01E02) and presented over the ABC Network, here via its Dallas/Fort Worth, TX affiliate WFAA Channel 8.

This show - starring Jack Scalia as Blue Stratton, Lisa Hartman (in-between stints with Knots Landing) as Kate Flannery and Rick Edwards as Shane Adams, and also starring Jason Bernard as Fletch (not to be confused with Chevy Chase's film character) and Mitchell Ryan as Brennan Flannery - was about a driving school that became a bodyguard service that sought to protect the world from natural disaster or up to no good.

In this installment, Blue, Kate and Shane are assigned to protect a shipment of crown jewels being sold in order to finance a Central American country's battle against rebel forces. Guest starring Fernando Allende, Gregory Sierra, Gerald Hiken, and special guest star Cesare Danova.

A little bonus will follow.
