After a couple of abandoned explores of late that have involved dead or dying animals (if you check my last couple of videos), I had been feeling down about my explores as every time I went on an explore something sad would happen anyway, I'd just finished an explore this day and had to rescue a kookaburra from a barb wire fence and try and get it to a vet so on the way home I found this place. Great I say so off I go to see about filming it.
As soon as I got inside I had a very uneasy feeling and felt like leaving because it just didn't feel right.
Then at 2.20 I find what I first thought were dead kittens because I saw the dead one to the left by itself beside the tv aerial. Ok I thought, that's really sad but get this vid and I'm outta here so I started rushing to finish up. Then at 4.20 if you listen really close I thought I heard a cat meow and from then on I became very focused on finding the cat to see if it was ok. I couldn't find it and as you see I discovered that there were four live kittens in amounst the dead ones so I stopped the explore, gathered up the kittens and went in search of animal shelter to get help for them. The animal shelter couldn't take them (Whaaa???) so thankfully I found a cat lady that rescues cats and she was happy to care for them. I have no idea where the mother cat was but I'm sure it was an adult cat that I heard but no amount of searching could find her, best I save what was left of her kittens. Yes!
