Welcome to the Cutting Room Floor Project, where some of my previously unreleased content finally gets its spot in the limelight to celebrate hitting the 1000 subscriber mark!
This is the second of the two songs I originally wrote for a game, codenamed "Epsilon RPG", which ended up unreleased since said game was cancelled. They're extremely different in style to my usual productions to match the mood of the game they were written for, but I think they still ended up sounding decent enough for an early alpha build. This song was going to play in an abandoned part of a large city, said to be haunted by the ghosts of the people who previously lived there.
Here's a little fun fact about that glitchy-sounding loop transition: I just put it in as a placeholder for a proper transition section, but since the game's director liked it way more than I expected, I left it in. I still wanted to change it a little bit for the final version of the game, but you know how that went.
