In this video we pull the hood mold to gain access to the dashboard area that will be part of the “Tub” mold/assembly. Since we have a few molds off the plug now, why not make a few parts! As we do a fiberglass layup of the two lower quarter panels you can see how the external flanges we created in the molding process are now used to form a turn-back with metal flashing, giving us a folded-in edge on all of our body panels.
