I do plan on working on Toyhouse a lot this month for Artfight but here is the general story of this until then so yall know what is going on:After Oakkit is born Winterclan treated him a bit, differently. Fearing he would grow up like his father, the clan tiptoed around the kit a lot and even Maplebreeze would not tell him about Cedarsplash. Since Cedarsplash was originally a Summerclan kit, Oakkit is a lot smaller compared to the average Winterclan warrior and as such believed that was the reason for how the clan treated him. He began having dream meetings with Cedarsplash in the Deep Caves as Oakkit/paw believed that if he got stronger, the clan would stop treating him so differently. While a small part of Cedarsplash did care for his kit, he mainly cared about raising Oakpaw to be like him and finish the legacy he started and ultimately failed to complete. Their trainings grew harsher overtime with many leaving Oakpaw injured as he grew more and more terrified of the cat who was supposed to be his father. Unredeemable - Anything Palette MAP part 17 (OCs) Mech_Criticality 2023-02-20 | Map call: youtu.be/Z08e0hwJ6NsFinished map: TBAWoo more Nuclear Winter Cat lore! I haven't done much with them since my True North part (which inspired me to make these characters) but I recently revamped their lore and a part in this map opened up so here we are! I also did a frame by frame run cycle for it which is something new for me but I am pretty proud of it! I did use @melowon_z's tutorial for it so huge thanks to them :DAnyways here's a bit of an explanation for this part (will reveal more of the story in other parts):This part takes place at the very end of the story and shows Hawk's (Fluffy darker red tom) confrontation with Jackdaw's (Lighter red tom with shorter fur) ghost. Throughout the story, Hawk blames himself for Jackdaw's actions as he was the one to find Jackdaw and would be the one to stand up for Jackdaw before he learned of his heinous crimes against the cats Hawk lived with. Hawk sees himself as unredeemable even after Jackdaw's death by his own claws but with one final meeting he decides to try to make things right. He ends up attacking Jackdaw's ghost and ends up killing him a second time. These parts take place in the span of time shortly after my Monster animatic and right before the fire scene (which i will delve into more in the future) basic synopsis for what is happening:After the scene that takes place in Monster, Driftflame leaves Redstar's den and tries to visit the Cloud Grove (basically the Moonpool and Gathering place) but Redstar stops him, still mad from their argument he lashes out, accidentally injuring Redstar (giving him the scars on his neck) and taking one of his lives. This is where this part starts: Redstar orders Driftflame to exile once Duckpaw's apprenticeship is over for what Driftflame did and the tensions that had been growing for moons between the leader and medicine cat brothers.
