Spend a wholesome week in my life with me and let's feel the ebbs and flows of life together. Whilst being busy with work lately, I’ve noticed myself feeling burnt out and drained. As a result, I've been craving finding ways to live a little slower and more intentionally. Whilst being busy, it gets so easy to fall into habits of instant gratification like scrolling and that often causes me to neglect healthy habits that actually make me feel grounded and deeply satisfied.
Falling into these habits misplaces my sense of attentiveness and curiosity towards the world and I can start to feel consumed by the rapidity of life. I think that’s how it can often feel for so many of us. It seems as though the default mode of society is not one of intentionality and slowness, so we must make a conscious effort to find ways to pull ourselves away from the entropy of the capitalist world we partake in. These choices are personal to us all, but this video is me sharing moments throughout my week as I try to reclaim my attention and time.
