hello friends, glad to be here today and to bring you this diary of our moving out.
i will truly cherish this era and, like in my cheesy poem, hope it does fade sweetly.

familiar scents offer the
embrace from a happier, warmer july
the same streets we traverse now
only a cascade of what used to be
the lake glistens friendly
the breeze sure
though, like fruit ripening, what's gone fades sweetly
✿
^this isn't my best polished piece of writing (in fact it's not polished what so ever), but I wanted to convey some of my emotions during our night in ithaca that day.. I can't express it truly the way it felt, but if you could feel music without hearing it, that was like gliding down the highway during sundown that day.
I am extra sentimental nowadays, but on the bright side is that it keeps me grateful. with everything that can make life incredibly bleak, hopeless, and grey... I don't want to forget that there is still love beauty to be found and created in the smallest, dustiest corners. see you soon,
