A VERY SPECIAL ROYAL ENFIELD BULLET 500

Hello my friends 👋🏼
In this video I take advantage of the nice weather and ride Ernie my Royal Enfield Classic 500 across Dartmoor to Moretonhampstead Motor Museum.
I was greeted by Frank as he happened to be outside on my arrival. There’s so many wonderful cars and bikes on display, but one in particular that I was interested in seeing.
The first I heard of Jacqui Furneaux was a few years ago now when Janner Fox of Royal Enfielder's Ireland told me about her. Since then I have read her book ‘Hit The Road Jac’ and had the privilege of being on a livestream hosted by Exeter Rider in which Jacqui was present. An amazing lady who travelled the world on a Royal Enfield Bullet 500. You can’t do something like that and come home without a story to tell. And tells it well she does!
I expect it sounds silly but I was slightly emotional seeing the bike with my own eyes. I could imagine her unstrapping the luggage in order to pick the bike up for the umpteenth time. I could also imagine how it felt to ride through some of the fascinating places that were so well described in her book.
