Skip to 2:00 for footage/capture. So the meteor shower came and went. How did it go? Well for me, just 2 meteors spotted from this shower. And I captured one on two cameras!

How I know its an Alpha Monocerotid and not something else.

Hopefully this is a learning experience for all of us. Peter and Esko learned something about the position of the dust trail. We learned not to hype things based on hopes and conjecture and hopefully you learn how to spot which parent radiant belongs to which meteor! I break that down here. I film one realtime meteor and also capture one in a long exposure near orion.
