AWC Sanctuary Manager Matt Lynn catches a Yellow-spotted Monitor making a quick snack of a Children’s Python at our Mt Gibson Wildlife Sanctuary on Yamatji Country (WA).

“I just so happened to go out on the patio in the early afternoon on this 45+ degree day and as I went around the corner the resident monitor and the python were tangled in a dance,” he said. “I took a few steps back so as to not interrupt anything, that's when the monitor predated on the python.”
