For how easy it was to get Time Stop from the hat-stealing monkey, I was frustrated that all my attempts to do so with the higher monkey had ended in failure. I kept trying to achieve Time Stop in a similar manner to bonking with the lower monkey, until eventually I noticed that the upper monkey's textbox never actually stops time! You can see this by looking at the yellow coins that keep rotating even after the textbox comes up. As far as I know, this is the only text box in the game that behaves this way, even the textbox before the upper monkey jumps on the box stops time normally.
