Three years and many announcements and info drops later, and here we are. Thanks to the recent Nintendo Direct, we finally have a name--and release date--for the long-awaited sequel to Breath of the Wild! The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to take us on a sprawling adventure across the kingdom of Hyrule--and the skies above--next May.
But there was a whole trailer accompanying the reveal, and a deceptive amount of details were hidden within its minute and a half of run time. This isn't my usual thing, but I can use my eye for detail to take a closer look at the game's newest trailer and try to interpret everything therein. Fair warning, this delves into a couple theories...but if they're onto something, there could be some huge lore implications.
