Pokémon is the talk of the Internet lately, for a lot of reasons. The biggest being the (somewhat) recent announcement of the series' 10th generation! Winds and Waves already look promising based on the first trailer alone, and the cautious optimism from fans has led to speculation about what other ways the games could surprise people. One way they could do that? Finally adding more elemental types for the first time since Gen 6!
But how, exactly, could they go about that? What are the best options for new types? How could they work? What themes could they encompass, what new moves could they introduce, how could they interact with the current types, and what current 'mons could gain them?
