After nearly a decade in Early Access, Scrap Mechanic 1.0 has finally reached full release, turning its long-awaited survival mode into a complete vehicle-building survival adventure.
I wake beside a crashed spaceship and have to turn scattered junk into a way out. To survive, I need to salvage whatever parts I can, learn to craft useful items from scrap and build my first vehicle, even if the wheels are not quite round. I also need to find component kits for upgrades and better workbenches while avoiding the swarms of killer robots roaming the world.
