Human Host just made surviving the zombie apocalypse a whole lot more complicated.
After getting caught in another brutal zombie horde, I discover I’ve been infected with a new strain of bacteria, and suddenly survival isn’t just about fighting zombies anymore. I need to work out what this infection is, what it’s going to do to me and, most importantly, find a cure before things get much worse.
It adds another layer to Human Host’s already deep zombie survival systems, alongside huge hordes, base building, crafting, injuries, exploration and progression.
The more I play this game, the more it keeps finding new ways to make the zombie apocalypse actually feel dangerous.
If you like zombie survival games like 7 Days to Die, Vein and other open world survival games, Human Host continues to be one of the most exciting new takes on the genre.
