This has two parts to it: The first part, the logical buildup of the three types of portal techniques and technologies which ultimately leads to the second part: The Cosmic Portal and The Ghost-Interfacing Paradox.
A Spectrum Of Portal Technologies:
Photographic Portals-
First part: Using the same logic as you would in constructing a plane, especially with no prior knowledge of aerodynamics, you would build the fuselage out of a lightweight material. wood, for example. You'd also want the skin that covers the frame to be lightweight as well. Stretched canvas.
This is analogous to a Photographic Portal, which at its heart is based on my discoveries of the inverse relationship between invisibility and holodecks. One portal would pseudo-corespond to another Photographic Portal with one's invisible cloak being the other's holodeck and their photographically invisible cloak being the first portal's holodeck in a fairly straightforward and simple way. They are psuedo-corespondant because they are dealing only in still image holodecks, representations of each other's local reality.
Televisual Portals -
Then, after understanding a little more about flight, you'd go on to build a much heavier plane, out of some metal or plastic, to enable the craft to endure much faster speeds.
This is analogous to a Televisual Portal. It requires a much heavier material and a lot more longer lasting than wood and canvas. It would need a plastic or metal construction to accommodate the optical electronic wiring harness that fills out the rest of the design.
But it still follows the basic inverse relationship between invisibility and holodecks as its main function. There is a real-time dual-corespondence between two or more of these portals, meaning that it is televised electronic information. No longer still images. You can virtually interact thru real-time telepresence with an occupant of a distant Televisual Portal, in a mirror-world televised recursive system.
Cosmic Portal-
Now, the last of these is the Cosmic Portal. It has no correspondence in this reality. No airplane analogy. There is no speculation about the Photographic Portal. Some speculation about Televisual Portals. Cosmic Portals, to me, are full of speculation.
The Ghost-Interfacing Paradox is just one of my more carefully thought-out speculations. But that's all it is.
The Ghost-Interfacing Paradox:
In the same vein that Photographic and Televisual Portals work, based primarily on the inverse relationship between invisibility and holodecks, we are talking complete visual AND material invisibility! And a virtual bridge to other realities within this non-existent (to our reality) Cosmic Portal.
So, again following a simple logic, if a Cosmic Portal can be made to detect everything in a particular reality so as to move thru it completely undetected, what would happen when confronted with another Cosmic Portal in this reality?
At the moment a Cosmic Portal is turned on, it may never be physically capable of being turned off again. Forever trapped in another reality. But if there were safeguards to enable a user to turn a portal on and off at will, then you'll need to deal with The Ghost-Interfacing Paradox.
In a way, this may be a cosmic censorship which prohibits man-made Cosmic Portals from being built or it may just be a paradox based on my limited ability to speculate about the truth of the matter. Read the image to understand more about this paradox.
