Hello and welcome to another Your Turn To Die Cover on my channel! These are always such a joy for me to make. ^^
The person that made this Cover possible was smithvo, who asked me if I want to sing "A Shot In The Dark" from @Winchifrost 's YTTD musical together with him. It made me very excited and I immediately agreed. I for sure hadn't expected anyone from my "Meet The Cast" singers to approach me to collab on something else like this. Made me really happy.
And oh boy, I really like how this turned out! Especially when it comes to the harmonies. :D I just hope one can't hear my clock too much XD Always a problem in any cover, but I just don't find it in my heart to throw it away. Guess we just have clock sounds in my covers sometimes.
Anyways, I think the art is kinda cute, even if I didn't intend for it to be. Could have done a bit better when it came to Sara's hand specifically, but it's hard finding perfect references for someone reaching to open a door in exactly the kinda way she is positioned. Not too bad though. What I like most about the art is the lighting. I tried around with it a lot to have the red light from above the door and the lighter light be reflected on them. (Drawing Sou is always a delight, lol. He is my favourite afterall)
The video editing took me around 3 hours, because adding lyrics always takes time and I wasn't sure at first of what to do at the start of the song. But as a whole I like how that turned out too!
I hope you all can enjoy this Cover as well, even if I know that most of you don't even know what YTTD is. You guys should really check the game out. It's sooo good, I love it so much! That's why I'll take any opportunity to make videos from it. XD
