I was on call with a friend once while she was trying to record a cover when she said "Ugh! I can't get the emotion right!" and I asked what emotion it was. She didn't respond so I could only assume it was the feeling of betrayal that comes from being an egg frying on the pavement knowing that no one will eat you.

And then I immediately wrote a song.

...and spent way too long on it.
