A little glimpse of what it's like to be on retreat with Rupert at Mandali.
There's something about this place — it's so inviting and welcoming, offering a beautiful space to drop into exploring these matters of non-duality. The Italian Swiss Alps in the distance, the lake below, birdsong, and beautiful surroundings to simply be.

Being around like-minded people, building friendships, and being together — so much of the understanding comes from this. Most people come on their own, some new and some who have been coming for years, and it's always easy for everyone to intertwine and become friends, with friendships that often continue long after the retreat ends.

The retreat centre offers so many different peaceful spaces, whether you want to be around people or on your own, depending on how you're feeling in the moment.

$Can Thought Exist Without Time? What is the relationship between thought and time? Just as space and perception are clearly interdependent, is the relationship between thought and time equally inseparable? Rupert says: ‘Yes, because any thought has a duration – even the thought “chair” has a duration, though much shorter than “what should we have for supper this evening?” If there were no time, in what dimension would a thought exist? Thoughts are sequential, one after the other, implying a line of time within which the sequence can exist.’ ‘Time is imagined in thought – it’s exactly the same as space and perception. Time is how reality appears when filtered through thought, while space is what reality looks like when filtered through perception.
