Edit: It appears as though I missed at least one important item in the first portion of the DLC. As you descend the tree toward the Gravetender boss fight there is a Follower Sabre on one of the branches.
I took an overleveled character into the DLC to really explore and learn enemies' movesets and weaknesses in preparation for my SL1 run, who has already cleared the main game. I believe this shows all important drops, weapons and a sorcery, as well as the boss of the first area Gravetender. If you're struggling with the DLC, I hope there's some information here that can help you out.
