Critical Issues Commentary | A Review of Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, Part 3 – Diminishing God’s Sovereignty @CICministry | Uploaded July 2022 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
In this episode we examine Sheets’ claim that God has limited Himself to working through humans. This theology diminishes the sovereignty of God and elevates humans. Sheets describes God’s actions as being contingent upon His own creation. We go on to discuss the problem with supposed new revelations from God. These revelations, or miracle guidance stories, are often used by NAR teachers to give credibility to their claims.
This is a critique of Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, Bethany House, 1996.
