Critical Issues Commentary | A Review of Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, Part 10 - Meeting the Powers of Darkness @CICministry | Uploaded August 2022 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
Dutch Sheets claims that “Our responsibility is to enforce the victory as we also meet the powers of darkness.” We reject his teaching and show that our responsibility is to believe the gospel and preach it to others. He also claims that “…prayers of intercession meet the powers of darkness” and includes an example of praying to Satan. We reject this claim and show that we are humbly to go before the throne of grace in prayer and not to interact with Satan or demons.

This is a critique of Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, Bethany House, 1996.
