It was only in the mid 80s in Las Vegas, where I am currently staying. So you can imagine my shock to see that it got to 102 degrees officially at the airport back home in Minneapolis/St. Paul today! I have been telling people all day that I came to the desert to cool off!
Another interesting note here is the temperature different a mere 150 some miles north -- only in the 60s in Duluth!
Not only were we extremely warm today -- but look how unseasonably cold we get just a few days later in the Extended Forecast. Very odd.
