Developing commercially viable, novel bio-based and biodegradable polymers is crucial if we are to create a more sustainable future – and that means we must collaborate.

Historically, there has been very little coordinated effort to address PLFs sustainability but now organisations are coming together.

One example is the ‘prosperity partnership’ between Croda, the University of York, and the University of Nottingham, who are using their joint expertise to accelerate innovation.
