The bright sun hits the birds of the sky
The tears of distress weaken the light of the rainbow
Get ready the story is sad to tell
Don't look at your neighbors because everyone has their share of guilt
Educated by the street, he has no future
Beaten by the rain, he seeks cover
Rejected by the society
He is willing to face any kind of danger
Right next to you, there he is
Look at this kid
Who from early age faces his destiny
He is there, wandering the streets looking for something to eat
He faces a fate in front of which he always comes out as a loser
I saw him, barefoot
With his face invaded by sadness
He stopped from door to door in search of tenderness
Is it the divine facts or the wickedness of men?
When I see this fragile being, this voiceless and hopeless being
Crying every second.
Friend of alcohol, slave to drugs,
Its future lies in the vices
Fruit of nine months of suffering
He is abandoned in the streets without assistance
He was there, sitting in front of your door
He suffered from a mortal hunger
While your son threw the rest of the food in the trash
In his walk he reached out to you
Without saying anything to him you let him go
He didn't want much, it was just to appease his hunger
With a 25f coin the day would be well on its way
You preferred to plug your ears and close your eyes
Instead of playing the role of an angel from heaven
He is marginalized, mistreated
Because he lives in a society based on greed
No room for pity
Nothing but burning embers on its path
His suffering from day to day only gets worse
His profile is that of a loner drowned in a wave of crowd
He is overwhelmed by fear and dread until the blow
With each attempt his hope sinks into the mud
He who is an innocent victim of armed groups
He reached out to you at the traffic light
You, dressed like never before in your luxury car
You ignored it without any remorse
He is only a child who has run away from death
Don't turn your back on it
He needs comfort.
I call on our leaders for dialogue and peace
For a fair world
Where every child flourishes
Dedicated to all children of IDPs
