UNICEF | Real Child Drawings Show Brutality of War in Ukraine | UNICEF @UNICEF | Uploaded August 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
This children's drawing started so happy...
War in Ukraine has caught children in the crossfire of ongoing hostilities, while schools, hospitals, and other civilian infrastructure on which they depend continue to be damaged or destroyed.
With 5.2 million children in need of humanitarian assistance, children are suffering the deadly consequence of a brutal war not of their making.
UNICEF is on the ground providing education, healthcare, water and mental health support. More than anything, children need peace now.
