A message from our Artistic & Executive Director, Helen Wallace:
‘We’ve been overwhelmed by your response to our campaign, so we’re doubling our end-of-August target to £40k. A generous donor has offered to match each donation, which has provided an incredible boost. Huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far.
We wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about what we do at Kings Place, and what you are saving. We are rooted in collaboration. As well as nurturing an ecosystem of artistic partnerships to create an exciting programme, we offer our spaces at weekends to music education charities; we host schools concerts and subsidise events for young children and families. Please watch our video to hear more.
We want to open safely again, but with 70% of seating capacity removed, it’s going to be a challenge.’
We believe Kings Place is worth saving; we hope you do, too.
